Taylor & Mathis completed this 448,000 SF headquarters campus for Southern Company Services (subsidiary of Atlanta-based Southern Company) in 1985 on a 54-acre site at Inverness in Birmingham, AL. The project encompassed three (3) seven-story office buildings and a 200-seat cafeteria. The buildings overlook a 10-acre lake and are connected by pedestrian tunnels.
