CHASTAIN MEADOWS HOME TO THREE NEW TENANTS

DEALS BUMP OCCUPANCY IN BUILDINGS 100-500 TO 94.8% 

Atlanta, GA December 20, 2013 – Taylor & Mathis, Inc., the exclusive leasing agent for Chastain Meadows, recently negotiated leases with three new tenants at the 230-acre business park in Kennesaw, GA.  In Building 200, Lackmond Products, represented by Dave Watson of Newmark-Grubb-Knight-Frank, signed a seven-year lease for 30,300 square feet, and Pepperidge Farm, represented by Ryan Wood of Jones Lang LaSalle, leased 11,293 square feet for a five-year term.  Design Environments, represented by Chip Craighill of Cushman & Wakefield, leased 47,893 square feet in Building 400 for a six-year term.  The buildings, developed by Taylor & Mathis, Inc., are part of a five-building, multi-tenant office/distribution project totaling 510,699 square feet.  Walker Wellford of Taylor & Mathis, Inc. represented the owner, Chastain Meadows V, LLC (a Taylor & Mathis-affiliated investment entity) on all three transactions.

To date, Taylor & Mathis has developed 1,115,000 square feet at Chastain Meadows, including build-to-suit office/distribution facilities for American Suzuki Motors, Respironics, Inc. and Williams Communications, and an 80,000-square-foot call center for The Home Depot.
