Atlanta, GA November 4, 2013 – Goya Foods, Inc., the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States, has selected Taylor & Mathis, Inc. to oversee the renovation of its recently-purchased distribution facility in McDonough, GA. The 151,800-square-foot building will serve as Goya’s food distribution hub for the Atlanta region. The $2.5 million renovation project includes the installation of 15,000 square feet of freezer/cooler storage and cold docks, a new 2,500-square-foot office and mezzanine area, conversion of standard warehouse storage area to food-grade storage, and roof replacement. In addition, site improvements include a new entry road to the property and reconfiguration of the existing parking and truck court areas.
